*NOTE: per the manufacturer, a fuse comes pre-installed to the PC board located inside the base; the inclusion of two replacement fuses in the packaging is not necessary as the pre-installed fuse typically lasts the life of the microscope. It is unlikely there will be a need to ever change out a fuse; if it becomes necessary, changing the fuse would require unscrewing the screws from the black bottom base to access the PC board. The vendor is working on a design change to make changing out the fuse more straightforward.
